The American Farm Bureau Federation recently launched the second year of its Strategic Action Fund (formerly the Policy Initiative Fund). Through this fund, AFBF offers state Farm Bureaus with fewer than 25,000 members grant money to implement programs that will advance AFBF’s priority issues.
Grants of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to state Farm Bureaus for eligible programs.
Larger county and state Farm Bureau organizations are encouraged to donate to the grant fund. An investment of $1,000 will provide an opportunity for a Farm Bureau staff member to serve as an online evaluator of program applications.
“We look forward to seeing the creative ways smaller state Farm Bureaus propose to advance our board-approved strategic policy goals,” said Margee Wolff, AFBF’s vice president of leadership, education & engagement.
Grant applications are due by April 1 and contributions are due by April 15.
