“At the outset, we thought 2020 was going to be a race between supply and demand,” AFBF Chief Economist John Newton said. “And if demand accelerates as we hoped it would, we thought we’d finally see commodity prices turn a corner.” 

But, COVID-19 hit, and as SeedWorld reports, it threw a wrench into some of the hopes of a better economic outlook.
