AFBF President Zippy Duvall had the lead quote (“It is critical that the new administration begin work immediately to do all it can to develop new markets for U.S. agricultural goods.”) in a Wall Street Journal article about farm group reaction to the United States’ withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement.

Richard Guebert Jr., president of Illinois Farm Bureau, also was quoted in the article. President Trump’s decision to roll-back TPP was “another setback to an already struggling economy,” Guebert said.
