Washington Post: American Agriculture Appreciates the WTO and Rules-Based Trading

The Washington Post quoted American Farm Bureau Federation’s Dave Salmonsen in a recent article on trade policy under the Trump administration. Salmonsen, a senior director of congressional relations, told the Post that American agriculture appreciates the World Trade Organization and a rules-based system for trade. “The stability it brings, selling into a rules-based international system, is good for agricultural exports,” he said.
