Zippy Duvall on Donating to Food Banks: This is a way to give back to the community

The American Farm Bureau Federation and Feeding America sent a joint letter to USDA Secretary Perdue asking the department to create a voucher system to get food from the farms to food banks. 

Demand and food banks has skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic, while the closing of restaurants across the country has caused the demand for meats, vegetables and fruits to plummet. Many farmers have been forced to dump milk or plow under crops.
