The American Farm Bureau Federation earned a Power of Associations Silver Award for its successful Social Media Ambassador Program. Through the program, Collegiate Farm Bureau members selected as social media ambassadors creatively highlight happenings at an annual Farm Bureau leadership conference and encourage involvement.

“We’re proud of our collegiate members selected as social media ambassadors who successfully elevate and celebrate the amazing work, learning and community service that takes place at our annual leadership conference,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall.

The ambassador program benefits college students by giving them an opportunity – and financial support – to experience a leadership conference. It also benefits Farm Bureau by leveraging the students’ social media audiences to spread the word about leadership development opportunities available within the organization. Learn more here.

The Power of Associations award program is coordinated by the American Society of Association Executives, which supports associations in every business sector and industry.

“Congratulations to Farm Bureau for exemplifying the impact associations have on the industries and professions they represent, and on society at large,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “It’s always so incredibly satisfying to see associations going above and beyond their everyday mission to change the world. We’re very proud to spotlight this award-winning initiative.”
